Dead to the World – Charlaine Harris
Description from GoodReads.com
When cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse sees a naked man on the side of the road, she doesn’t just drive on by. Turns out the poor thing hasn’t a clue who he is, but Sookie does. It’s Eric the vampire–but now he’s a kinder, gentler Eric. And a scared Eric, because whoever took his memory now wants his life.My Review
And things just keep getting better and better! The time spent between “New” Eric & Sookie was fantastic! The only way it could have been written for everything that happened! “Old” Eric woudln’t have made the same situations be how fantastic they were!
Sookie’s heartache over Jason just makes me cry and sigh all thoughout this book! And of course laugh at times
More Alcide, that makes life very perfect! He’s my favorite character of the whole series to date! The more he’s in the remaining books the happier I’ll be and the faster I’ll read! I made it through this one in a day!
The editing is still not tip top by any stretch but I’ve learned to look past it because of the great storyline, loving and hating the characters, feeling like I’m there in the room with them all and of course.
Now I will say that if I have to hear one more time about how short Sam is, how wild Jason is or the words Viking with Eric or Civial War with Bill…I just might scream! It’s way overused and I realize the author wants to remind people of the past books but if they don’t know those 4 things, they don’t need to be reading a series. And if they started with this book then they don’t deserve to know the past lol But that is just my opinion. But regardless I think she repeats WAY too much of the same information about the previous 4 things and Sookie’s ability and body.
