Weekly Wrap Up:
Well this past week was full of changes and exhaustion (kidding) lol
Monday and Tuesday were pretty routine. I enjoy some time with Mom Monday night and worked on Tuesday at both jobs.
Wednesday… I had an amazing time at the CMA Awards Wednesday night but it throught he rest of my week into a tailspin of “NOT ENOUGH TIME!” because Wednesday night is one of the nights that I get caught up from things during the beginning of the week or work ahead toward things that will need to be done by the end of the week. And the lack of sleep didn’t get caught up on until Saturday night but it was worth every exhausted minute
I enjoyed a wonderful lazy evening with Mom on Friday, cooking steaks and catching her up on @NBCChase and then watching @BlueBloods_CBS & @CSINY_CBS And of course the babies got a lot of lovin’ and cuddlin’ from both Mom and I. They aren’t spoiled or anything lol I have to admit having them a fenced in back yard to release their energy has really helped them to be calmer when guests arrive.
Saturday was anything but what I expected it to be but it turned out to be a good thing, other than I was worn out! My Aunt Shirley, Uncle Wayne & Mom came over to survey why my washer was having issues. It got taken care of and then they/we moved on to what was and wasn’t hung up in the room it needed to be in. Got several things hung up and a few more things added to the “needed” list to get closer to finishing up getting totally settled in the new place. It’s a process….. apparently a long one…
Sunday was the usual to some degree although I slept in until 11 and that hasn’t happened in quite awhile but I can honestly say my body needed it. Didn’t make it to Church at all, tv or otherwise and that wasn’t exactly how I wanted to start my day but it was, what it was. The dogs woke me up to some degree between 8-9 and they ddin’t come back in until almost 1 so they were pretty worn out especially after playing with cousin Crash all afternoon and evening. First on the agenda was laundry and a little cleaning then I worked a little while watching the Titans lose *sad*. I brought back the tradition of Sunday Queso and it was delicious even though I forgot to drain the Rotel first (oops! lol)
Gina and Crash made it over about 1/3 of the way into the race or later and after that was a little more football and on to the continued @CW_Supernatural marathon to get @CJMcGo (and myself at this point) caught up to date. We are on disc 4 of Season 5 at the moment and I’ve @Tivo ‘d all of Season 6 so far… I am determined to be caught up before the end of Season 6! Determined I tell ya!
A little dinner of fish fillets and fries and the movie The Box started. I have to admit it wasn’t what I thought it would be and wasn’t as good as I had hoped, even James Marsden being in it didn’t make it a wonderful thing but it was tolerable. The beginning was way too slow and while it did explain things by the end, by that time I was irritated. Last night as the credits rolled I would have given it a big fat DUD award but after thinking about it during the night and this morning I’d go for a 3 1/2 star okay a 3 star rating… I still say the first 45 minutes could have been cut down to 20 minutes…
A Look Ahead:
Monday is dinner at Mom’s (Spaghetti with Hush Puppies) and then home. Typically it would be to watch @NFL Monday Night Football but I don’t care about the game this week so it will be to catch up on what I didn’t last week/this past weekend, including @Tivo. And to get prepared for the rest of this week.
Tuesday is the normal work at both jobs and not get home until at least 9PM if not later. A little puppy love and @Tivo action and I’m done I’m sure.
Wednesday night is well Wednesday at a Church… busy, busy and busy and then hopefully getting a little further ahead on the contract jobs I have going. I’ve got tons of that kind of work to get finished. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts, I just may be caught up from moving by January at this rate
Thursday is just Tuesday on repeat except it’s also crazy busy at @FBCHuntsville so I’ll be exhausted by nights end.
And then come Friday, well I’m not totally sure. I’m going to try to go to the movies with @TeaganMiller after work and try to get my hair cut (NOT by @TeaganMiller lol) I do love the early afternoons off!
The weekend should be more of the normal, although I’ve signed up and volunteered to watch the last DVD movie of Harry Potter to get @CJMcGo and I prepared for the newest @HarryPotterFilm movie out on IMax although we’ll wait a week to see it so it won’t be as crazy packed (hopefully). And while I’m not a HP fan per se, it’s quality time away from the house doing something with Gina and I think we both could use that. I do like all the effects and etc in the HP movies, I will give big kudos for those.
