Whispers – Robin Jones Gunn

After reading the first book in the Glenbrooke Series (Secrets), I was anxious to read the second and with good reason! Just like Robing Jones Gunn made the fictional town in Oregon come to life in Secrets, she made me feel like I was in Hawaii enjoying the smells and local flavor of life.

The romantic twists and turns of Teri’s time on the island with the wonderful characters that wre so vivid and lifelike from her words had me smiling, angry, sad and about twenty other emotions.

The only issue I had was how long it took Teri to realize things, it seemed a little too drawn out. And I realize how much we all need our own time to make decisions and see the good and bad things in our lives but like I said it was a bit too slow for my tastes but everything else made up for it! Robin has written a fantastic relatable by all Christian Fiction marvel!

And just like last time, I’m so excited to read the next installment in this series! Luckily this is a book club read from both the @N2Fan (N2Fan) Book Club & the Athens-Limestone Library Book Club as well.
