Cirque du Soleil – Alegria & Contest

As most of you know I LOVE Cirque Du Soleil and I try to go see it as much as possible. Right now with the economy such as it is, that gets harder but I had the opportunity to go see Alegria in Nashville at the GEC, um, Bridgestone Arena (Will always be the GEC to me). As far as Cirque shows go it was good but I couldn’t help but feelt here was a little something, missing or just not as exciting as my past Cirque adventrues.

There were a lot of laughs and I’d have to say the clowns were my favorite part of the show and that is usually second to the rest of the show of bending, twirling, jumping and just sheer “How do they bend like that?” moments but not with Alegria. Don’t get me wrong there was a descent amount of that but like I said, something just didn’t seem to be wowing me. It’s still good but not overwhelmingly fantastic as I’ve come to expect from Cirque du Soleil shows.

And for those of you in my area of the world, Cirque du Soleil – Dralion tickets are going on sale this morning at 10AM for the Von Braun Center Arena
