Update on Me, Myself and My Parasite

So another update on me and my parasite. I had a “spell” this past week and so it has caused another medication change & the doctor has put me on bed rest except for work (and church-my addition). And if I shy away from you if you even remotely seem sick, please don’t take it personal but my system just isn’t up for fighting anything else. What could be a cold to you could be a hospital stay for me so I’ll send a get well wish from across the room if that’s okay I’m dehydrated and they gave me fluids, I’m to continue to push fluids, so lots of fluids…lots and lots. They also said to relieve as much stress as possible….yeah… right…

Those that know me know that I am used to going at 100mph at any given moment so this isn’t easy for me and that I can be stubborn. Not this time. My body is letting me know loud and clear that I need to listen. The effects of the medicines (all 15 of them now) are kicking my butt and I may go insane but I’ll be parasite free and insane I have great doctors that I have a lot of faith and trust in so I just have to listen to them now.

While I can still blog, play games, watch TV, etc as long as I can do it in bed, my recliner or sofa. So while all of my social plans are cancelled and my house may need a huge clean after all of this…this too shall pass and when it does I’m sure just like with my cancer I’ll have learned something new about myself, my life and have even more to feel blessed about and be proud of.

Thank you all for the calls, texts, emails, visits, cards and mostly for the love, support and prayers! The power of prayer is an amazing thing!
